Dish Network on Wednesday debuted TV Everywhere, an adapter that plugs into the satellite TV provider’s HD DVR receivers and allows users to watch programming on their computers or mobile devices. The company also released the free Dish Remote Access app, which allows users to manage their DVR library and timers via an iPod touch or iPhone.
In addition, Dish introduced the Dish Network WiFi Monitor, developed by Sling Media and capable of transmitting an HD video signal to anywhere in the home. It will be available in the second quarter of this year, along with the TV Everywhere adapter and the new ViP 922 HD DVR receiver.
